Pamukkale Antique Pool entrance fee 2020

There is also the famous ancient pool just above Pamukkale Travertines . This place is already a delight. The columns in the ancient pool , which can also be entered for a fee (60 TL) , almost take the swimmers to the past. Columns destroyed in 692 formed a bridge a few meters below the pools. You can dive and pass under these columns.

Pamukkale travertines pond;

We went down with the ring shuttles to stroll and take a walk in the small pond below, which we watched over the Pamukkale Travertines . Now we started to watch the travertines from a lush green area upwards. Pamukkale was quite impressive in every aspect .

We left to visit Pamukkale Ancient City on the way back. Before it got dark, we started walking on the historical path of the ancient city of Hierapolis , passing through the white paradise again . Can a person experience natural paradise and Gregorian history on the same day? It’s impossible not to be impressed. This is the same Ephesus Antique city or Assos ancient city bigger. It was like an open-air museum with its ancient city and historical heritage.

Information about Pamukkale Places to Visit and Hierapolis Ancient City;

It is known that the ancient city was founded by Emaneus II and that it took its name from Hiera, the wife of Telapaus, the founder of Pergamon. The ancient city of Hierapolis is accepted as the holy city called Polisiti in the archaeological literature. People with this belief wanted to be buried in Hierapolis because they believed that the gates of heaven were here.

That’s why it became a city of tombs. In addition, the tomb of Saint Philippus , one of the 12 apostles of Jesus, was found here. The underground gates of Hades , one of the important gods of Greek mythology , or the ancient pool of Cleopatro, which gave beauty to the Queens, are also in Hierapolis.

Nature, history, legends, healing waters and natural paradise Pamukkale blew our minds. After visiting the Aegean-Mediterranean in 7 days , the Pamukkale trip we came to was like the happy ending of the movie. What can we say, this is a place that should be seen in the world, not in Turkey. If it’s a place you haven’t been before, it’s a paradise where you can come in every season of the 12 months…

One of my favorite aspects of the Aegean region is that you can find nature, history and local flavors together. When I came to Pamukkale , I did not have the opportunity to eat something local. However, I will write a few flavors for you with a little research.
